Backyard Skills: Summer Vase Workshop

Immerse yourself in Summer abundance while learning how to create a beautiful seasonal vase arrangement with Farmer Carra, The Ecology Center’s Floral Manager!

Early Summer is a beautiful time to explore the bountiful color among our flower fields. From ranunculus and nigella to saponaria and sweet pea flowers, there’s enough variety for everyone to create their perfect assortment.

We’ll begin the workshop spending time on the farm, learning from Farmer Carra about flower care, harvesting techniques, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to harvest their favorite blooms to bring back and incorporate in their unique arrangement. Farmer Carra will then lead workshop participants in an in depth demo covering the basics of floral arrangements using our Regenerative Organic Certified flowers. With her many years working with the land, Farmer Carra is a great resource for all your flower-related inquiries and would be happy to help answer any questions you may have.

Please note one vase arrangement per ticket, although pairs of two are welcome to work on the same arrangement together.
