Early spring is the perfect time to plan your garden for the busy and bountiful months ahead. Join us at the farm to learn the steps to starting and maintaining a small cutting garden.
Together we will dive into all of the aspects of the garden from seed to vase. The journey begins with seed sowing, propagation and choosing the varieties that work for our Southern California climate. We will dive into soil conditioning, mulching, and fertilizer and discuss the best ways to keep our flowers healthy and vibrant through the varied conditions of the season. Then we will move our way through our flower fields, learning about the harvesting process. Our goal is to help you produce the most you can with a minimal amount of space so that our community is full of beauty and bounty for all.
This workshop is great for beginners or experienced gardeners to learn from Farmer Carra and all of the techniques we have learned on our Certified Regenerative Organic farm.
