Join us this summer for a one-of-a-kind farm experience at The Ecology Center’s Grow-Eat-Make Summer Camp. Designed for children ages 7-12, our immersive camp offers hands-on learning in regenerative farming, farm-to-table cooking, and nature-based creativity. Campers will explore environmental stewardship, teamwork, and the rhythms of farm life—all while having fun in our vibrant children’s garden and food forest.

Camp Activities

  • Chicken Care: Feed the chickens, collect fresh eggs, and learn about the daily rhythms of farm life.
  • Organic Farming: Get hands-on in our certified Regenerative Organic Farm, use real farm tools in the Market Garden, and discover the role of seasonal crops.
  • Gardening Fun: Explore composting, harvest seasonal produce, and gather flowers from the garden.
  • Culinary Creations: Pick fresh ingredients and cook delicious farm-to-table meals in our kitchen, sharing meals with fellow campers.
  • Creative Arts & Play: Engage in music-making, games, and hands-on crafts that encourage creativity and teamwork.
  • A Tree of Their Own: Every camper will adopt and care for their own small fruit tree throughout the week, learning how to nurture it before taking it home— a friend for life.

Grow-Eat-Make Camp counselors lead a group of campers, ages 7-12. This engaging experience will nurture a life-long appreciation of the outdoors, and help your child explore how people and the environment are connected.

Campers can sign up for one week or multiple weeks to build upon previous lessons and activities
