Ingredients | |

1 pint | fresh strawberries, topped and quartered |
1 cup | freshly squeezed lemon juice |
2/3 cup | water |
1/2 cup | sugar |
Heat the water and sugar in a small saucepan and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved to make a syrup. Combine the strawberries with the syrup in a blender and blend until smooth.
Combine with the freshly squeezed lemon juice and serve over ice.
Garnish with mint or basil!
