1 cup | balsamic vinegar |
2 Tbl | honey |
1 lb | large strawberries, stemmed and quartered lengthwise |
½ lbs | chèvre style goat cheese, crumbled |
– | black pepper, freshly ground |
¼ | bunch of fresh cilantro, rinsed and stems removed |
In a medium pan, heat balsamic vinegar and honey on medium-low. Allow to thicken until mixture resembles syrup, about 15-20 minutes. Set aside.
Place the strawberries on a tray. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste. Drizzle strawberries with the balsamic reduction, crumble goat cheese over strawberries, and garnish with cilantro.
