1 Yellow Onion
1 Jar of Hearth Grilling Spice
1 Jar of Tomato Passata
1 Jar of Salad Seed Crunch
1 Dozen Eggs
1

Loaf of Farm Bread

1

Jar of Salsa Macha, optional

Yield: 4 servings

Instructions

      • Start by slicing half the onion into thin slices.
      • Place the sliced onions into a large hot cast iron with about 1.5 tablespoons of Hearth Spice followed by half the jar of Tomato Passata and place this into a 450f oven for 7-10 minutes.
      • Remove the pan from the oven and make 4 small wells in the sauce. Crack the eggs into the wells and sprinkle a bit more Hearth Spice over the eggs. Place back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
      • Check eggs for doneness, the whites should be set with runny yolks.
      • Once ready, top the Shakshuka with a pinch of Seed Crunch and serve with a slice of bread and some Salsa Macha. Enjoy!
