HEARTH Grilling Spices

“This is my number one, go-to seasoning” – HEARTH’s Chef-in-Residence, Tim Byres.

This blend is wonderful on grilled vegetables as well as sprinkling on salads.

Yields 2 ½ cups

Serves 6-8

1/2 cup curry powder
1/2 cupdark chili powder 
1/2 cupsmoked paprika
1/2 cupkosher salt
2/3 cuppacked dark brown sugar 
3 tbspsugar
2 tbspgranulated garlic
1 tbspground cumin
1 tspcayenne pepper

In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together using your hands to break up any clumps. Do not refrigerate, store in an airtight container and place in a cool, dry place, such as your cupboard.
