Jason has spent years painting different surfaces all around the world, including a few here on the farm. His work moves through bold color, pattern and shape, responding to the surfaces and places it lives.
Jason Woodside is a visual artist specializing in painting with acrylics and aerosols. Virginian born, Woodside spent most of his childhood growing up in St. Augustine, Florida. In the early 2000’s, Woodside moved to New York City, attending The School of Visual Arts.
His work is characterized by vivid colors and fades ith a contrasting band of patterns and shapes. Taking inspiration from textiles, light, and nature, Woodside plays with various bold textures and public exterior settings to generate visual cohesion and optimistic emotions.
Woodside’s large-scale, hand-painted murals can be seen on inner-city walls around the world, including Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Madrid, Tokyo, Sydney, and London.
