15 years ago, The Ecology Center was founded with the simple goal of connecting our community to our shared living systems, our foodways, and one another.
What began as a 1 acre dirt lot and a historic farmhouse grew into a vibrant educational space for hundreds of thousands of visitors. We are now proud and honored to run a dynamic organization focused on the three primary efforts of modeling a replicable, health-giving, methodology of agriculture for our environment, waterways, wildlife, and families as well as mentoring the next generation of global citizens, and nourishing our community with farm-to-table culinary offerings and certified regenerative organic produce grown on our farm.
Since The Ecology Center’s founding in 2008, our goal has been to nurture and ignite the spirit of our community, driven by the vision of a sustainable and ecologically conscious food future. This Fall, we celebrate our 15-year anniversary and a 40-year extension of our lease of this historic farmland. We are excited to invite you to celebrate with us on November 4th for an afternoon filled with delicious food, beverages, music, family activities, and a wonderful sense of community. We can’t wait to share this special afternoon with you on the farm.

Is this a family-friendly event?
Of course, we welcome children of all ages.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes! We’ll have non-alcoholic farm fresh beverages, as well as adult beverage options.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately not, as there will be a crowd and we’d hate for your pet to be scared and do something they’d regret.
