Backyard Skills: Flower Bouquet U-Pick

Celebrate the abundance of the season with a Flower U-Pick experience. Participants will have the opportunity to join Farmer Carra in harvesting their favorite blooms and building their own unique bouquet arrangement!

Embrace the splendor of summer as you venture into our flower fields, where an abundance of vibrant colors awaits. Discover the allure of cosmos, zinnias, marigolds, and an array of edible flowers. With such a diverse range to choose from, every individual can curate their own personalized collection, a true reflection of their desires and preferences.

We’ll begin the workshop spending time on the farm, learning from Farmer Carra about flower care, harvesting techniques, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to harvest their favorite blooms to bring back and incorporate in their unique bouquet arrangement. Farmer Carra will then lead workshop participants in an in depth demo covering the basics of floral arrangements using our Regenerative Organic Certified flowers. With her many years working with the land, The Ecology Center’s Floral Manager, Farmer Carra, is a great resource for all your flower-related inquiries and would be happy to help answer any questions you may have.

Please dress appropriately (tennis shoes/ boots, sun hat) and bring water + sunscreen.
