Rad! Traditions Afterschool: Tuesdays (Age 7-10)

2024 Fall Rad! Traditions Afterschool Program

Tuesdays 3:30p – 5:30p (8 Weeks)

Session 1: September 24th, 2024

Session 2: October 1st, 2024

Session 3: October 8th, 2024

Session 4: October 15th, 2024

Session 5: October 22nd, 2024

Session 6: October 29th, 2024

Session 7: November 5th, 2024

Session 8: November 12th, 2024

Age Range: 7 (in September) through age 10

Note: This is a narrower-than-usual age range. For older participants, see Thursday.

Program Focus:

Skate, Survival, and Soul with Todd & Sam – Mindfulness and body awareness as we explore Yoga, Skateboarding on our on-site half-pipe, and Outdoor Survival Skills like fire-making, archery, shelter building, resource gathering, and making basic tools. Skate gear is provided though you are encouraged to bring your own.

AND/OR

Agroforestry with Cedric – Unpack the elements of an edible landscape in our on-site food forest.

Enrollment Process:

Tickets are available for purchase below. Families must sign a liability waiver after purchase before admission is allowed.

Cancellation Policy:

Full refund for withdrawal up to 30 days before the program begins. Purchase pays for all series days – no prorated discount if you plan to attend fewer than offered. We are unable to offer makeup classes or refunds for missed sessions. Your tuition reserves your child’s place in the program for the entire season. Tickets are not transferrable.

Our program is designed to proceed rain or shine, ensuring that participants can make the most of every session. In the event of extreme weather conditions, 24-48 hour advance notice by The Ecology Center will be provided in which case a refund will be issued, only for days deemed unsafe.
