Pre-dehydrated citrus peels (orange, lemon, lime, or grapefruit)
Paint, paint pens, or markers
Metal screw hooks
Cut sticks, sharpened dowels, or corks
Twine or thin string

How to Dehydrate Citrus Peels at Home:
Slice your citrus in half and juice thoroughly. Enjoy your juice and save the peels!
Spread the peels on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Dry in the oven at 170-200°F for 25-30 minutes.
Instructions:
- Cut the dehydrated citrus peels into small circles for mushroom caps.
- Gently bend or trim the edges to create a dome-like shape.
(Optional) Paint or decorate the tops for added flair. - If not using corks, cut thick sticks to 2-3” lengths for stems.
- Use metal screw hooks to attach the mushroom caps to the stems.
- Thread twine through the hooks to assemble the garland.
